Distinction Hotel Rotorua

The room was spacious, clean, and featured comfortable beds. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially towards my family, which contributed to a pleasant stay. There was a genuine feeling of luxury in the interior design, with velvet seats and chandeliers enhancing the ambiance.

The parking situation was inconvenient, being located a fair distance from the entrance.

Tidy and top quality place, astonishing and delicious breakfast with a huge variety of options. What a perfect location in nearby attraction!

Honestly...everything. We had just got married and the Staff were great - really made us feel kind of special :-) We found the resteraunts really good and the food was fantastic - the breakfast being a real highlight! We found it great that the price for the suite had the breakfast and dinner included as we didn't have to worry about meals. Very enjoyable stay and would definately do it again ourselves and recommend the Distinction to others. All the best Karen & Glenn Anderson.

We were actually surprised by our room's view and comfort. The heated pool was a favorite for our child, and we enjoyed a fantastic buffet breakfast, although it got a bit crowded during peak times.

The room was brand-new with good view and mirrors plus tooth brushed, could leave my car on-site. The location was perfect and excellent, for example, Te Puia was not too far from the hotel. Furthermore, the area was secure.

Brand-new room with a kitchenette, beautiful view and delicious and superb breakfast to start the day. Ideal, handy location in the fancy cave like area.

The heated pool was a total hit for my family! Staff were super friendly. But the room could use some updates and we noticed a few cleanliness issues. 🏊‍♂️

The staff were very helpful & welcoming. Enjoyed the full buffet breakfast. Family package including the buffet breakfast is a " value for money" deal. Spa,pool and the Gym added to the enjoyment and relaxation. I will certainly stay at Distinction during my next trip to Rotorua. Also I will recommend it to any of my friends/relations.

We joined the buffet breakfast at 8am, and wished there were more danish pastries/muffins. Our children said this time the hot chocolate sachets were missing??

we had a 3 course dinner at the Pavillion. My husband and myself both found that the Garlic bread entree was very dry, and the steak was extremely chewy and not very enjoyable. The dessert was nice although it was not made onsite.

The breakfast buffet offered diverse options.

My room had a terrible smell, musky and damp. The cleanliness was disappointing, with dust and wrappers left behind. There was no fan in the bathroom, causing the space to feel clammy after showers.

They were fully booked so i got a free upgrade to a suite for the night...it was amazing. Very good facilities; grotto spa, heated pool and good buffet breakfast.

This was the first time we had stayed at the Distinction Hotel and it wont be the last. We had a lovely time very comfortable rooms very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. It was a pleasant experience. The staff were all very accommadating it was just great. Thankyou to all the staff at the Distinction Hotel.

Totally recommend for a cursory stop

Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast with a diverse buffet, and a helpful staff made my stay enjoyable and convenient for exploring local attractions.

Loved the location great for everything so close by, we were able to check inearly which was great.all the staff we came in contact with were all really friendly and attentive. I asked for extra pillows and they were sent up so quickly. Dinner and breakfast really good, thankyou

The hotel was truly exceptional with well-equipped and well decorated rooms. The venue was in an ideal location, close to city centre. Cafe Stolen Bike Cafe located 3 mi away was a nice surprise.
